What happened ?

Well I was going to be so good when I set up this blog - then I turned my ankle, broke a bone and tore the ligaments in my foot. I ended up with my leg in a pot, staying with my Mum as I couldn't manage my stairs. I had no access to my computer or craft stuff and a month later when I did, I'd forgotton how to get on blogger. I've just found my notes and thought I'd better start again.

I've done a couple of classes at Art from the Heart [that were absolutely fab].
A weekend doing a canvas



I also did classes playing with stampotique images and painted/inked and sewed a canvas purse - which I don't seem to have photos of - I do enjoy playing [and getting messy] but never seem to have the time at home. That's why I look forward to going to Dyans so much.

I did manage to make a steampunk style fathers day card



but nothing else I really liked.

I will try to be a better blogger.

Went to the Pudsey Dolls House Fair yesterday with my Mum and her friend. As if I don't already have too much junk! - I bought a lovely bookcase full of spell books, scrolls and severed heads, which sounds wierd but even my Mum liked it. My dolls house is set in 1928 and my dolls are flapper-witches! I did start making some of the kits I bought when I got home but I have to say I wasn't over impressed with any but the hat making one - and that's ongoing so I may not manage to create anything I like, but it will still be more satisfying than the cut out & glue boxes etc.
